Two important issues are being debated and which need un-packaging. 1, the urban conservation and the need to apply relevant tools in the planning process - the historic urban landscape together with urban design guidelines that can protect the urban values and 2, the issues of monument reconstructions and opening up the debate ab initio with the Venice Charter and beyond and which reflect the relevant components of the OUV.
